                 Minnie mice!

Leisure & pleasure: Hoi An, Vietnam.

     

      Hoi An is a lovely town, crowded most of the time, but nevertheless charming. The
      Cau Lau, thick noodles in broth, are excellent. And beer Tourane is pretty amazing.
      Behind closed doors there are lots and lots of sweatshops as Hoi An is the center
      of fake clothing, if you can show it they will make it to order. You can cross a nice
      bridge, but you will need to pay an entrance fee before you can go any further. The
      other side harbours an old part of town. It is in fact no more than a tourist market.
      Every single house is converted into a souvenir shop, well I might be exaggerating,
      but only a little.
      Just Wait, a little before the shops close down you can get in for free.

                    A head and some notes. HP must be Hai Phong, ND - Nam Dinh,
                    PLy - Phu Ly and NBinh obviously would be Ninh Binh. A trip
                    we made back in 2006. Probably payed 15.000 Dong, twice.

Leisure & pleasure: Snake wine!!!

They call it Snake wine but it is a liquor!

The snake liquor is available all over Vietnam, let's say all over Asia. May not always be snakes in there. The Than Binh Hotel guy serves snake, seahorse, scorpion....
